Wings Etc. tests two new takes on macaroni and cheese plus a featured bold margarita at Missouri locations

Whether it’s comfort or adventure that guests are craving, new menu items deliver “Big Flavor”

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — The Wings Etc. locations in Cape Girardeau, Dexter and Jackson Missouri, are trialing two flavor-packed twists on macaroni and cheese plus a featured zesty margarita beginning August 27.

The BBQ Chicken Bacon Mac ‘N’ Cheese features Wings Etc.’s crispy or grilled boneless chicken tossed in the brand’s popular BBQ sauce and piled high atop a plate of rich and creamy macaroni and cheese. The dish is studded with savory bacon bits plus a layer of shredded Cheddar Jack cheese for good measure. Another roun

d of BBQ sauce tops off this mouthwatering combination of comfort classics.

Fans of Buffalo-style wings will love the new Buffalo Mac ‘N’ Cheese. Diced crispy or grilled boneless chicken is tossed with Wings Etc.’s beloved mild Buffalo sauce and heaped on a plate of fresh and creamy macaroni and cheese. Finished with a hearty helping of shredded Cheddar Jack cheese and more Buffalo sauce, this new dish is a flavor fusion in every bite.

The Jalapeño Lime Margarita brings the zing to the table. This spicy, citrusy cocktail begins with a base of premium pure agave Sauza® Hacienda Silver Tequila. Triple Sec and fresh Jalapeño infused Lime Sour are a lively addition; the blend is then poured over ice for a bold and refreshing beverage and garnished with a lime wedge. Guests can choose a salt or sugar rim for a sweet or savory finish.

“Wings Etc. is committed to delivering ‘Big Flavor’ in exciting new ways,” says CEO Rob Hensmann. “Our Mac ‘N’ Cheese dishes are full of bold flavor, and pair well with our featured Jalapeño Lime Margarita. We believe consumers will be thrilled to discover these fresh takes on their favorites this fall.”

These bold new flavors debut just in time for the fall sports season, as Cape Girardeau Wings Etc. franchisee Joe Hobbs reignites his sponsorship of the Southeast Missouri State Athletics for another year.

“We love the energy that our partnership with SEMO brings to both parties,” says Hobbs. “And we’re excited to offer hungry students and fans in Cape Girardeau these extra flavorful new menu items to try this fall.”

The test begins August 27 and runs for a limited time.
